Job Title: Project Management Co-op

Reports to: Sr. Manager PMO

Key Internal Partners: Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Logistics, Supply/Demand Planning, Finance, R&D, Plant Operations, Purchasing, Creative Design

Key External Partners: N/A

Location: NYC (hybrid model, in office 50% of the time)

Duration: 6 months (Jan-July)

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate student who can blend his/her studies with hands on experience to add value to the supply chain team.

The Project Management Co-op for Materne North America will help support a growing business by managing new projects and support the expansion roadmap of the PMO through the creation of new tools and processes. This co-op will provide firsthand experience working cross functionally with nearly every function within the company, while also training them on how to successfully manage projects. Additionally, this co-op will provide the opportunity to learn new tools and explore new technologies to help support the PMO expansion roadmap.

Job Responsibilities & Tasks can include:

  • Leverage Project and Portfolio Management tool to create reports
  • Investigate new technologies & tools to optimize current processes
  • Learn how to use Power BI to derive unique insights from project data
  • Complete a full project focused on either cost savings, dashboarding or prioritization
  • Manage new supplier qualification projects through the artwork process, while learning the fundamentals of project management
  • Share/ document insights and actions to help improve current processes/ ways of working

Position Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • Student majoring in business or engineering
  • Student has completed 3 years of undergraduate program

EXPERIENCE

  • Prior internship in related field preferred
  • Prior work experience required

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience problem solving issues and leading formal solution recommendations

Base Compensation $21.00/hour
