Project Hydrogeologist Job at Water & Environmental Technologies

Water & Environmental Technologies Kalispell, MT

WET is seeking a full-time Project Level Hydrogeologist to prepare technical reports, conduct and oversee field investigations, analyze data in support of system design, permitting, and compliance with applicable state and federal environmental regulations. This position requires exceptional technical writing skills and effective verbal communication skills to interface with staff, clients, and regulatory personnel. Position will be located in the Kalispell office and will support projects across the Rocky Mountain and Pacific regions.

Salary will be established based on experience. Salary also includes performance-based bonus. Benefits include: an Employee Sponsored 401(k) plan, WETs Employee Ownership Plan (ESOP), health insurance, life insurance, PTO and other benefits afforded to full -time regular employees of WET.

General Statement of Duties :

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of groundwater flow and contaminant transport, interaction with regulatory agencies, and management of remediation/water resource projects across the Montana, Rocky Mountain West and Pacific Northwest regions.

Qualifications:
    • Project to Senior Level Hydrogeologist :candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Geoscience, Hydrogeology or closely related field, with at least 5 years professional experience.
    • Professional certification and experience with marketing and business development preferred.
    Required Special Qualifications:
  • Possession of a valid Driver’s License;
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.

  • Sufficient personal mobility, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits the employee to inspect properties and engineering and construction projects throughout the region, including sites characterized by rough terrain.
