Position Summary

Azimuth Corporation is looking for a potential Program Manager in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, MD (NSWC IHD). The purpose of this effort is to provide organizational development, management and planning, public affairs, records management and analytical and program management functions in support of Command Operations.

Responsibilities

• Obtain, analyze, and evaluate complex textual and/or quantitative information to make comparisons among alternatives or to make recommendations for corrections or improvements in processes, operations, or policies
• Organize, direct, coordinate planning and production of all contract activities
• Interface with client management, including the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR)
• Recruit personnel necessary to perform assigned tasks
• Establish and alter (as necessary) program organization to provide effective contract support
• Assign, schedule, and provide quality assurance of project team deliverables
• Ensure conformance to task specifications and contract provisions

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in management, business, or accounting discipline from an accredited college or university
• 10 years of professional experience
• Must have knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) policies and directives
• At least 6 years of relevant experience in the management and control of budgets, personnel, and material resources for contracts of this type and complexity
• Experience with automated systems to include database maintenance and ad hoc reporting
• Ability to analyze and prepare documentation and identify and resolve complex problems
• Must be a U.S. Citizen
• Clearance Required: Applicants selected will be subject to a security
• clearance check and/or a security investigation and may need to meet
• eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
