Quality Services Moving is a veteran-owned company looking for people who enjoy working with others to help their community members since many of our valued clients are local residents and transitioning service members in the process of moving. We are seeking to hire additional Professional Packers and we are offering paid training for individuals interested in positively contributing to our customer’s relocation experience.

As a Professional Packer with our team, you will be a member of a moving crew who is dispatched to customer homes or job sites where you’ll carefully wrap, protect, pack, and label our customer’s belongings into sealed cartons to ensure items are prepared for safe transport. We know what you are thinking and this is NOT a backbreaking job! Most commonly packed goods are relatively lightweight and include clothing, books, linens, kitchenware, toys, framed photos, and décor to name a few.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid ID and clean background for the purpose of being able to gain access to service locations on military bases or in other secured facilities
• 18+ years old and possess valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation to/from work at our Lorton, VA facility (NOTE: Position is dispatched out of our Lorton facility and we are NOT metro accessible)
• Drug free (safety is paramount so a pre-employment drug screen is mandatory!)
• Background check (mandatory given the types of goods our team is responsible for handling and the locations serviced)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance (roughly the weight of a 5 year old child or a large bag of pet food)
• Clean-cut appearance, professional demeanor, positive attitude and clearly communicate both verbally and in writing using the English language
