Our client in East Freetown, MA is seeking an SAP Production Planner to handle production planning for its heating/hot water solutions manufacturing operations. The SAP Production Planner will develop and maintain production schedules and service levels, ensure availability of materials and inventory, and see that production and delivery objectives are met. This is a direct hire position. Please include resume with application.

Hours: Full Time / Monday through Friday

Pay Rate: $60,000 - $68,000 per year based on qualifications

SAP Production Planner Responsibilities Will Include:

• Develop production schedules to meet finished goods requirements and optimize capacity
• Coordinate with buyers and internal team to maintain service level goals
• Proactively review raw material needs with Purchasing to ensure inventory supports production requirements
• Verify manufacturing lead times and available capacity
• Provide analytical data to support inventory levels and batch size recommendations
• Adjust and provide revised ship dates as necessary
• Maintain ERP system accuracy by adjusting inventory discrepancies and noting changes to master data
• Verify incoming receipts on open PO’s as applicable
• Provide leadership support/role in Daily/Weekly Planning meetings and project teams

SAP Production Planner Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience with Manufacturing Production Planning
• Experience with SAP ERP systems
• Working knowledge of BOM and Routings
• Must have intermediate experience with MS Office - Excel, Word.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Associates Degree or equivalent
