As a Post Security Supervisor, you will oversee and manage about 7 officers assigned to an upscale apartment complex in Woodland Hills. Work schedule will be a mix of day/morning shift and evening/swing shift.

Role and Responsibilities: Support scheduling changes and emergency call-offs by redeploying the staff and using rovers. Administer corrective action to enhance the quality of security officer work, performance, appearance, and the company image. Ensure compliance with client requirements by training and supervising others. Training new officers. Working with client on service issues and improving the quality of services that we provide. Inspect the security team and support excellent morale. Writing of brief reports (DARs/IRs) and helping officers prepare more accurate documentation.

• Communicate company policies and procedures to all shift personnel.
• Assist the scheduling department with the filling of open shifts, by responding immediately to open shifts and making phone calls to cover the openings as needed.
• Knowledge of Detex-type systems and procedures.
• Monitor all CCTV and radio communications.
• Assists as needed with complaints from client and residents.
• Assist with Investigations of accidents, thefts, property losses, homicides, or other unlawful activities, and work with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Adapt and work extended hours, flex days off if needed, respond off-duty if needed and as directed.
• Attend meetings/training as required.
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times, even off-duty.
• Brief other Operations Team members of any unusual occurrences that happened on your shift.
• Ensure security officers provide high-quality services to protect people and property.
• Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and performance throughout your employment as a Supervisor.
• Be available for overtime opportunities.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience at a Supervisor level or higher.

Knowledge of CCTV, radio procedures, and access control systems.

Possess a positive mindset and professional demeanor.

Exhibit effective written, oral communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the public in a professional and effective manner.

Use initiative and independent judgment within a set of established guidelines.

Have basic computer skills.

Ability to provide a high quality of customer service.

Ability to handle both common and crisis situations at the client's site both calmly and effectively.
