Physical Demands:

• Long hours sometimes required, including nights and weekends.
• Lifting up to approximately 30 pounds and /or 30 pounds of force frequently or constantly to carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
• Push heavy carts of approximately one hundred (100) pounds.
• Bend, stoop, stretch and reach to dust and mop
• Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often for long periods.
• Ability to be on your feet throughout the entire shift.
• Exposure to sun and heat for long periods of time.

Required Competencies:

• Able to communicate accurately and effectively in verbal and written form with guests and associates so as to respond accurately and completely to people to give directions, instructions, information, answer questions and provide service as required.
• Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations, particular with guests or staff members.

Responsibilities may include any and all of the following:

• Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Prism standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
• Approach all encounters with guests and team members in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes a clean, pressed uniform and correct nametag when working
• Must, at all times, be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests, managers, and other team members.
• Greet guests in a prompt and courteous manner; seats guests ensuring a balanced workload among servers.
• Ensure that the entire pool and recreation area is clean and presentable for the guests.
• Immediately responds and corrects any potential dangerous conditions (i.e. a wet floor due to guests tracking in rain or snow).
• Cleans pool area and restrooms.
• Cleans and stock necessary items.
• Empties the trash from bins
• Maintain a safe and clean environment at resort pool area including folding towels, minor housekeeping of area, and supervision of water slides.
• Able to work with children in a positive manner in order to create a positive and fun experience for all guests.
• Inspects all public areas for cleanliness and potential hazardous conditions
• Makes sure all surfaces are clean.
• Arranges all cushions properly in cabanas and pool lounge chairs.
• Assists guest with their questions and direct them to the areas they want to go.

Take care of all cleaning equipment used in the pool area.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
