Capital Quarries is looking to fill a Pit Loader Operator position for the Jefferson City/Holts Summit Quarries and a Pit Loader Operator at our Rolla Quarry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely operate bulldozers, backhoes, excavators, skid steers, front-end loaders, haul trucks, crushing equipment and/or other large machinery
- Move, load, and handle materials with the use of heavy equipment
- Lift, haul, push, roll, load, and move aggregate related material with the use of heavy equipment
- Perform general maintenance on equipment including but not limited to welding, cutting, and fabrication
REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of the practices and techniques applied to the safe operation of heavy equipment, including recordkeeping of operations
- Operate construction equipment
- Perform maintenance on equipment, as needed
- Valid driver’s license
- Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
- Must be willing to travel, as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
