We are an established mobile medical practice serving McAllen and the surrounding areas performing evaluations on patients with swallowing disorders. Our practice in the Houston area is well established and started in March of 2005. Presently, we are in need of additional Part Time Physicians to join our group in the McAllen and surrounding areas. All physicians with various backgrounds are encouraged to apply. During training the physician will be compensated.

The practice is part of the largest practice of its kind in the United States. It started in Houston March of 2005, expanded to East Texas in 2006, San Antonio in 2007 and Southern Texas in April 2008. At present, we evaluate over 1400 patients monthly with 8 full time physicians, 10 part time physicians, 12 speech language pathologists and a total staff of over 50.

Briefly, benefits and annual income for working 3 days a week will be up to $100,000 depending on volume. Health insurance, a 401k retirement plan, and educational stipend are available. There is no weekend call or night call and malpractice insurance is paid for by the practice as well as the tail coverage. In over 250,000 evaluations in a 15 year period, we have not had one malpractice inquiry or action.

Professional Imaging’s mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations including modified barium swallows for patients who have swallowing difficulties. The consultations are delivered utilizing a mobile unit pictured on our website, www.proimagetx.com.

Various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients have physicians and speech language pathologists who request swallowing studies from a mobile office such as ours. These requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled 95% of the time within 24 to 48 hours of receiving the request. If possible, they are scheduled the same day depending on daily volume and location. Our goal is to have our staff home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM every day.
