This position is a Hybrid Local-Remote position. Remote 3 - 4 days/week and onsite 1 - 2 days/week.:
Job Summary:
Works closely with the President-CEO to identify ongoing grant funding opportunities for strategic projects of the hospital and leads all philanthropic activities. Will work with the CFO to manage grant funds. May assist other NCH Affiliates with grant writing as requested. Will work with and assist Department Managers/Directors in identifying grant funding opportunities for their programs and administer grants as they are received. Will co-chair Philanthropy Committee and develop the philanthropic strategy for the hospital.
Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, preferred with the proven ability to communicate effectively in writing including written expression and comprehension. Skilled in active listening, speaking, and oral comprehension. A minimum of 3 years of grant writing is required and preferably in the healthcare environment.
