• Have a minimum of 6 months of caregiving experience (Home Care, Assisted Living/Memory Care, Skilled Nursing/Nursing Home, Hospital, or Hospice) or if you are an active nursing student.
• Prefer High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• Pass a Background Check.
• Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
• Ability to pass written and skill competency examinations.
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Ability to cope emotionally and physically with a wide range of client behaviors.
• Must be willing to work with any client, regardless of personal preference.
• Must be able and willing to work with clients of all skill levels.
• Must be willing to travel within a 30-mile radius of their home location.
• Must provide and demonstrate the ability to be a qualified professional that he/she is capable of performing personal care services by following a client's care plan.
• Time traveled between job sites on the same day will be paid at the regular rate of pay and the overtime rate if exceeding 40 hours in the pay week. PCFA may withdraw the agreement at any time.
