Responsibilities/Job Description:
The registered nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, & providing professional care in an ambulatory setting. While following established standards & protocols, the RN delivers care that is unique to all ages served by the clinic. As a member of the patients care team, the RN supports quality patient & family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the team & patients. The RN will educate patients and the public about various medical conditions. They will maintain complete, timely & accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually look for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
  • Provides care according to the plan, in accordance with all policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines, Involves the patient and other health care team members in assembling data
  • Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable
  • Coordinates nursing care with all other health team members
  • Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing conditions
  • Prioritizes work based on acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient/support team preferences, in conjunction with the provider
Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Current Minnesota RN License

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of previous healthcare experience in ambulatory care settings
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged
