TEKNITON is an authorized TV and Home Appliance repair company operating in California, North Carolina, and Washington. Over the last 25 years, we have partnered with major manufacturers, dealers, and extended warranty companies providing unmatched in-home services to our customers.
We are currently looking to hire a Parts Coordinator to work at our Kent, WA location.
Job Summary:
The primary responsibility of the Parts Coordinator is to manage the inventory of our parts operations at the Kent, WA branch by placing part orders, receiving orders, preparing parts for the scheduled daily jobs, return parts not needed to the supplier, maintaining inventory, and updating all parts management systems. This position offers competitive pay, excellent benefits, and a great and friendly working environment.
An ideal candidate will have had experience working with Samsung home appliance and television parts, be familiar with GSPN, be ready, and be able to learn the systems. We are looking for a highly organized person that works best under high-pressure situations.
Duties and responsibilities
- Review upcoming jobs and prepare/order parts for each job.
- Return parts not needed to minimize inventory and impact on the company’s credit line.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies and follow policies and follow loss prevention company programs.
- Maintain and update inventory records and systems.
- Provide parts-related job updates into different systems utilized by the company and the manufacturers, dealers, and warranty companies we represent.
- Collaborate with other company employees to improve parts management operations.
- Help to train new employees and inform them about the company's parts management policies.
- The ability to safely lift up to 15 - 25 without assistance and the physical ability to use a 6' ladder due to parts organisational requirements
