Allegheny Health Network Home Medical Equipment is hiring an Orthotic Fitter/Athletic Trainer. An Orthotic Fitter is a healthcare provider who works closely with orthopedic physicians and staff in a clinical setting to provide comprehensive care including fitting, adjusting, and instructing patients of proper use and care of orthotic devices. This is a fulfilling position that allows employees to see what a difference they are making in the lives of others.

We are looking to fill one Full time position covering South and Pittsburgh Areas, this position would be a Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM -4:30 PM. We do have a mandatory COVID 19 and Flu vaccine policy.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Insurance qualification
• Orthotic device fitting
• Processing of referrals from the orthopedic department
• Patient education & training
• Professional communication & excellent customer service

YOUR SKILLS:

• Organized and thorough
• Detail-oriented
• Multitasker
• Maintain composure under a fast pace
• Follows the rules of patient confidentiality & compliance
• Ability to work independently

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Customer Service
• MA, ATC, COTA, OTA certification preferred, but not required
• Associates or above certificate program preferred
