Part-Time Neurology Position Available

Seeking a Neurologist that is Board Certified with a California Medical License in good standing to come into our Del Mar practice and see patients that have sustained head injuries due to being involved in motor vehicle accidents. We are a well-established Medical Practice in Del Mar/Carmel Valley and currently have four other neurologists providing services. We are growing and have a need for another provider that is familiar with CTE, TBI, concussions, dizziness and headaches resulting from head injuries.

Our practice is located in a highly-desirable region of Del Mar/Carmel Valley within minutes of world-class beaches of Southern California. Applicants must be well- trained and familiar with state-of-the-art neurology care.

Ideally we are looking for a neurologist to come to our Del Mar location, and see patients for New Evaluations and Follow Up appointments 2 or 3 days a week beginning at 9:00 am until about 4:00pm, with an hour or a half hour scheduled in for lunch. Our staff will schedule patients. New evaluations must be done in person, but follow up appointments can be done via Telemedicine.

Salary is highly competitive. Applicants may be brought on as part-time employees if they are able to devote 2-3 full 7 hours days, or may be compensated per New patient Evaluation or Follow Up evaluations. Some patients also see positive results from Botox injections to treat headaches, this is also something we look for neurologists to be skilled in.

EMG/EEG skills are also a bonus.

Neurologists are required to have strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making abilities, as well as the ability to effectively interact with patients and employees.

Neurologists must have excellent organizational and time management skills, as well as excellent practical and diagnostic abilities, to be successful. We will provide guidance on how medical reports after evaluations must be provided.
