Mold Technician Job at Trelleborg Sealilng Solutions Giddings,
Essential job functions:
- Must be able to read a ruler/tape measure and convert measurements to fractions/decimals.
- Have knowledge of equipment and its parameters to verify consistency.
- Have good material recognition.
- Have knowledge of secondary operations and procedures.
- Follow daily production schedules and priority rankings.
- Write job number on molded material to ensure traceability.
- Assist the achievement of targeted efficiency goals.
- Communicate and notify issues to supervisor/leads as they arise.
- Complete data entry, documentation, and reports daily.
- Observe all safety, environmental, and quality management procedures
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work environment through daily house-keeping duties.
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisor, lead, or business needs.
- Process a variety of materials.
- Maintain focus to complete repetitive tasks.
- Develop expanded knowledge of E2.
Competency:
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Self-motivated ability to work alone or as part of a team.
- Communicate with senior members of the team.
- Retain knowledge obtained through training.
Physical requirements:
- Exposure to high temperatures.
- Bending and lifting with proper technique.
- Heavy lifting.
- Standing for long periods.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Math skills.
- Excellent decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills with everyone involved in the process (managers, operators and leads).
