ActivCare Rolling Hills Ranch is hiring a part-time Medication Aide/Caregiver for the NOC shift. We are looking for experienced, caring, and hardworking individuals to join our team.
The part-time Medication Aide will also assist as a hands-on caregiver. There is potential for full-time hours working additionally as a caregiver on other shifts.
Primary Responsibilities of the Medication Aide/Caregiver position include but not limited to:
- Assist multiple residents with medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Maintain medical records under the supervision of a ActivCare Rolling Hills Ranch Licensed Nurse
- Take vital signs, observe residents, and report any changes in condition to a ActivCare Rolling Hills Ranch Licensed Nurse
- Assure compliance with all state and federal regulations
Medication Aide/Caregiver Requirements:
- Current certification as required by state regulation (Med Tech Training will be provided)
- Proficient communication skills in English verbal and written
- Must enjoy working with the aging population
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Must successfully complete a TB skin test or chest x-ray, state fingerprint and FBI background check, health screening, and basic first aid training
