Job Description
Performs scanning and indexing of incoming faxed health information into the electronic health record following established standard guidelines. Conducts detailed review of all inpatient and outpatient incoming faxes for critical elements.
Qualifications
Associate degree or higher preferred.
1 year experience using an electronic medical record (EHR) system required. Medical Terminology.
Previous Epic, HIM experience, Knowledge of lean Principles, and Medical assistant experience preferred.
