MEDICAL ASSISTANT

We are hiring a Medical Assistant. If you are dedicated and ambitious, Mobile Medical

Group is an ideal place to get ahead. This is a full-time position available at our Murray, Utah Location.

Performs routine MA duties such as assisting providers with charting, ordering and preparing lab analyzes, calling in pharmacy orders, home health and hospice orders, and ordering DME supplies. Obtaining Medical Records. Previous experience in a clinic setting preferred but not required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares patients for examinations and diagnostic procedures such as taking vitals and obtaining responses

to standardized medical history questions.

• Prepares equipment delivery for providers to complete appointments.
• Submits orders for patient referrals and follows through with tracking process.
• Calls in refills to pharmacy as instructed by provider; resolves all phone messages daily.
• Interacts with the billing office on patient billing questions.
• Attends and completes mandatory education and training meetings and activities.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined above.

2. Basic computer skills to assist in routine clerical functions.

3. High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited medical assistance certification program

preferred

4. Excellent interpersonal skills

5. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients and other external parties in a courteous and

friendly manner.

6. Must be detail-oriented and highly organized

7. Firm grasp on medical practices, administrative processes, and organizational policies

8. Knowledge of patient care and examination procedures

9. Must be able to maintain confidentiality at all times
