Overview
The Marketing and Brand Specialist protects and promotes the CrossFirst Bank brand while providing marketing support to our banks and related services teams. Assist the Marketing Director in building and monitoring CrossFirst Bank marketing processes and delivering an extraordinary client experience. Provide support to our banks and business units through the effective use of communications, direct/event marketing, sales materials, client experience, digital and social channels, promotional products, advertising, and internal communications.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily operation of marketing related duties, ensuring smooth and efficient workflow; manage multiple competing projects and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal clients requesting deliverables or checking the status of jobs in progress; act as a liaison with external partners.
- Manage event invitations and workflow utilizing appropriate communication tools and systems.
- Update and distribute collateral, sales and promotional materials.
- Manage effective tracking systems for marketing activities, including collection and reporting of relevant sales data and online statistics.
- Assist with the maintenance of the CrossFirst Bank website and provide content/branding for internal use, email, and social platforms.
- Provide creative marketing materials and expertise for client and prospect events.
- Prepare written communication for internal and external use, and review for grammatical correctness and appropriate style.
- Maintain marketing materials library, photos/videos, media clippings and audit files.
- Participate in marketing team meetings and generate process improvement ideas.
- Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service.
- Represent the Bank in a highly professional manner.
- Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors.
- Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work.
- Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices.
- Reliable and predictable attendance.
Qualifications
- At least one year of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated writing and design skills, as evidenced by samples of previous work.
- Excellent technical skills including experience with:
- (Required) Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Power Point) with presentation emphasis and (Preferred)Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- (Preferred) email management, content management for websites and social media
- Proficiency in AP style writing and editing; excellent grammar and proofing skills are essential.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing with exposure to communications, advertising, graphic design, journalism or related field, or equivalent work experience.
