Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Inspector to support our Longview, Texas Operations.
Receiving inspection (including dimensional inspection) of manufactured parts and raw materials per the requirements of applicable drawings, specifications, procedures & work instructions using dimensional measuring tools such as scales, rules, micrometers, calipers, etc.
Prepares & maintains documentation such as Nonconformance Reports (NCR), dimensional inspection reports.
Checks documents for accuracy & applicability.
Interfaces with internal departments and personnel, as needed to support production needs.
Maintains the integrity of the calibration of company tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
Minimum of one-year machinist, inspection, or dimensional inspection experience.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, scanners and copiers.
Ability to read, analyze, & interpret general business periodicals.
Self-starter, able to prioritize & multi-task with good analytical skills.
Ability to calculate figures & amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference & volume.
Experience with dimensional mechanical measuring tools such as micrometers & calipers.
Ability to understand and interpret drawings and technical requirements
