Lucid Motors is seeking a Manager IT Site Leader who will be responsible to execute in a role as IT business liaison between IT and Manufacturing teams to interpret the business's daily goals and objectives, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the organization. Translate business needs and provide direction, guidance, and support critical business needs for IT staff to execute in support of auto manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background with a proven track record of leadership, project management, and team development. This role is 5 days a week onsite in our Casa Grande, AZ office.
This is highly visible role and plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between the business and IT departments in an organization
Responsibilities:
- Provide direction, guidance, and support critical business needs for IT staff to execute in support of auto manufacturing facility
- Working closely with other departments within the manufacturing site, such as operations and engineering, to ensure that technology systems are aligned with business objectives.
- Facilitating communication between business and IT: The IT business liaison is responsible for ensuring that communication is clear and effective between the business and IT departments. This may involve coordinating meetings between stakeholders, providing status updates on technology projects, and acting as a liaison between the two groups.
- Translating business needs into technology solutions: Once the IT business liaison has a clear understanding of the business's needs, they must work with the IT department to identify and implement solutions that will address those needs. Mentor and guide a team of IT professionals, providing direction, coaching, and support
- Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and implement solutions that enhance business processes and increase efficiency
- Understanding business needs: The IT business liaison must have a strong understanding of the business's goals and objectives, as well as the challenges and opportunities faced by the organization. This involves working closely with business stakeholders to identify their technology needs and requirements.
- To be successful in this role, candidates should have background in IT management, as well as experience working in a manufacturing environment. They should be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders and have strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years IT Management experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment
- 4+ years experience with Automotive industry around OT infrastructure, MES (Manufacturing Execution System), Logistics and Supply Chain
- 2+ years experience with SAP
Preferred Qualifications:
- Transformation experience in OT and IT Systems
- Ability to think logically and demonstrate strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
