Job Summary
Textron is seeking a Manager for our Leadership Development Program (LDP) to provide strategic leadership and direction for our enterprise early career focused LDP. As the Manager, LDP, you will be responsible for program strategy development, measuring enterprise-wide program ROI, ensuring overall alignment of functional LDP programs with business and council strategy, and with University Relations activities. You will lead a team of LDP Program Managers, Specialists, and Coordinators.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and oversight to LDP Program Managers, ensuring program execution and annual projects are focused on program enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Train, mentor, and provide performance management, development opportunities, career conversations, and overall program direction and support to direct reports.
- Manage the program operations, including budget, program office staffing, employee relations, and compensation.
- Continuously review and improve the LDP Program strategy and standard practices to positively impact attraction and retention.
- Stay informed of market research, analysis, and industry trends to influence program strategy and direction.
- Develop and nurture working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Develop and track program key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure a successful LDP program and ROI for all businesses.
- Prepare management-level presentation materials and provide updates to business and function leadership as required.
- Oversee LDP training curriculums and ensure the content meets the organization's needs.
- Develop and continuously improve standard processes in all areas of the LDP Program.
- Serve as a backup support for LDP functional programming.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Protect and maintain the privacy of employee personnel records, including personal and compensation information.

- Passion for developing direct reports and making others successful.
- Strong planning skills and ability to deal with ambiguity effectively.
- Ability to execute multiple projects with extensive detail coordination and project management.
- Strong influencing and consulting skills, with the ability to establish a strong presence with executives at all levels.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of related work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of project management experience.
- Knowledge of the application of HR policies and procedures.
- HR experience, experience managing/supervising direct reports, and recruiting experience are desirable.
