Counter-Form LLC, a leading regional manufacturer of countertops, is now accepting applications for a 1st shift Maintenance Technician - Level 1 for our Marshfield location.

Work schedule: Full time with overtime

Monday thru Friday starting at 6:30 am (NO WEEKENDS!!)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Report to work on a consistent, regular basis.

· Performs minor and major repairs of all equipment and buildings. Major repairs are performed under supervision of a lead. Small projects, take on instructions from lead to final completion

· Performs preventive maintenance procedures on equipment and buildings on a scheduled basis; inspect belts, check fluids, replace filters, greases machines, replace and repair broken parts.

· Remove defective parts by dismantling machines and reassembling, calibrate and repair pneumatic devices using hand and power tools.

· Completes weekly and monthly checklists on equipment maintenance procedures and helps maintain records of scheduled maintenance procedures.

· Repair electrical equipment and control circuits; replaces faulty electrical switches.

· Responds to emergency maintenance requests as needed

· Maintain a Valid WI Drivers license and good driving record.

· Assist with Production within other departments as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS REQUIRED

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide and required to read a ruler, calipers and other measuring devices.

· Multi-tasking: Able to handle several task assignments at one time and complete each of them by the given deadline, while staying organized.

· Communication with Management: Able to discuss ideas and issues at all levels of management. Keep manager informed of project status in a timely fashion.

· Initiative: Able to carry out assignments with little to no direction.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma and advanced tech school training preferred or 1 year on the job experience.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to normal plant conditions and outdoor work. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and work environment is moderate to occasionally loud. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds of general plant items.
