Maintenance Technician Job at Petersen Precision Engineering
Petersen Precision Engineering LLC is looking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our Redwood city location.
· Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair all electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of various types of machine tools – CNC and conventional machines, part washers, Surface Grinders, Stamping presses, and other production equipment.
· Perform preventative maintenance, identify potential issues that could interrupt machine up-time, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair equipment used within the manufacturing environment.
· Record completion of work orders by documenting in detail the steps taken, parts installed, and repairs performed on all equipment utilizing a CMMS.
· Follow all maintenance safety practices including Lock Out/Tag Out Procedures and Risk Analysis prior to starting the maintenance tasks and adhere to all best practices per Industrial Safety Programs.
· Coordinates with OEM Technical support and outside service providers on problems, trouble-shooting mechanical repairs, and specifying complex components as necessary to expedite repairs.
· Follows shop floor processes for rectifying minor repairs, or requests.
· Assure work environment meets the safety standards of the operation and report any safety incidents to management.
· Maintains a clean and safe work area.
