Phoenix Houses of NY|LI is looking for a Full-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to work in our East Hampton residential facility.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician keeps facilities in compliance with all guidelines and in good appearance and completes general repairs in all facilities.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician upon receipt of work orders performs visual walk through of facility upon arrival and does additional work, if necessary.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician maintains and keeps tools in good working order and keeps an accurate inventory of tools.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician keeps maintenance areas neat and orderly; checks fuel oil levels visually inspect and tests machinery and equipment as necessary.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

· Facilities Maintenance Technician lays’ out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

REQUIRED EDUCATION

• High school diploma or equivalent
