SBHS has an exciting opportunity for growth-oriented LPNs to join our nursing department.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Graduated from an approved practical nursing education program is required. A minimum of one (1) year experience in a psychiatric/mental health field is preferred.

LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current LPN license to practice by the Illinois State Board of Nursing is required. Primary Source Verification shall be required through Illinois Department of Professional Regulations

Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (R.N.) the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assess, directs, delegates, coordinates and evaluates consumer care through collaborative efforts with health team members and in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The registered Nurse may serve as the administration’s designee in supervisory capacity. Coordination of all staff assignments ensures that all consumers will receive optimal care and that the unit duties are completed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
