The days of the week required for this role is Monday- Friday and the work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.:
We are seeking a Legal Assistant II, Settlement Department that will communicate with clients and attorneys while providing necessary documents and updates.
Essential Functions :

- Reviewing Settlement Agreements.
- Document management through CLIO.
- Assist in case management.
- Prepare out-going emails to clients with updates.
- Process Settlement Agreements from receipt to closure of case.
- Answer incoming calls providing updates to clients.
- Prepare quarterly audit of files.
- Manage all legal office administrative responsibilities, including sending emails, making copies, reviewing payment status, and organizing file systems.
Required Skills/Abilities: :
- CLIO experience preferred, but not required
- Following up with Clients / Opposing Council
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Extensive knowledge of office administration, clerical procedures, and recordkeeping systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Extremely proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software.
Education and Experience: :
- High School Diploma required.
- Bilingual (English & Spanish) candidate required for this position
