As a Barclays Learning Assistant Vice President, you will be responsible for the delivery of all New Hire programs across all sites relating to Customer Care, Fraud and Collections. You will be responsible for the training element of the recruitment process; including approving when and where classes can take place, assigning rooms and learning advisors, tracking the metrics of the class through the five-week training program. In your new role you will be responsible for developing the team in line with the latest Learning Delivery methodologies.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for the performance of Learning Advisors across a remote geographic footprint through assessing Learning Advisor metrics and KPI’s
  • Ensuring ongoing success through the accreditation and cross-skilling of new Learning Advisors joining the team
  • Providing development internally through structured observations and 121 sessions with each member of the Learning Delivery team
  • Executing on the strategic and tactical plans for delivering a world class Learning Delivery team
  • Developing and maintaining collaborative relationships with non-operational leaders and stakeholders to ensure that new hire needs are anticipated and met
  • Providing thought leadership insight to drive the performance of the team and support the company with the drive to provide world class learning environments

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in adult learning theory, instructional design, organizational development, business administration or relevant experience
  • Learning management experience
  • Demonstrated skills in a variety of training methods, to include classroom, virtual learning, eLearning, and blended solutions

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • Experience in Project and Program Management
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly
  • Knowledge of training modes, methods and learning styles
