Discovery Point Child Development Center - Cedarcrest Acworth, GA 30101
The Lead Teacher will provide children with developmentally appropriate activities, provide a warm and nurturing environment, interact with children, parents and assistant teacher. Duties for the lead teacher are:
- Implement weekly curricula which address all learning goals
- Provide direction to other staff in classroom
- Responsible for organization and adherence to a daily schedule
- Adherence to all State and Discovery Point policies and regulations
- Communicate in a friendly, professional manner with parents, staff, and management
- Maintain a welcoming, upbeat, positive atmosphere in classroom
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the classroom at all times
Requirements for the lead teacher position are:
- Minimum of CDA, TCC, or a Bachelors degree in any field
- Minimum of two years experience in a center-based childcare environment
- A desire to work with children through positive interactions
- Neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Complete all required training as scheduled.
- Located within 10 miles of childcare center in Acworth
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Education:

- lead childcare center: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- CDA or TTC Cert or ECE Assoc or Bachelor degree in any field (Preferred)
