Join our Early Childhood Education Professionals team at Creative Environment! We are currently seeking a creative-minded individual to Lead our Preschool class.
The right person will be energetic and engage with the children as they learn to explore the world around them and their place in it. The right person will plan and implement child-centered, play-based lessons that encourage children to grow socially and independently.
The Preschool Lead, under the supervision of the Program Director, will be an integral part of the Preschool Education Team. We strive to prepare children with social-emotional development, build self-esteem, and encourage independent thinkers.
Our teachers enjoy the freedom to develop their own curriculum, provided it is aligned with the NYS Standards for PRE-K.
The Preschool classroom typically has up to 14-16 children, therefore 1-2 Assistant Teachers will also be part of this program. Teachers work together to support the children and families.
Daily responsibilities include attendance records and health checks, lesson planning and implementation, safety and supervision of children in accordance with NYS OCFS regulations for childcare, classroom management, classroom organization and cleanliness, parent communication.
