As a Machine Maintenance Technician at our company you will have opportunity to build your career while building machines and maintaining them on a daily basis. The maintenance technician is responsible for the performance and maintenance of mechanical equipment and machinery ensuring limited production downtime whenever possible. In addition, the maintenance technician diagnoses machinery components and determines if and when adjustments or repairs are required.

The maintenance technician is responsible for maintaining the proper safety requirements of all equipment. In conjunction with the production team, will support continuous improvement of development of preventative maintenance instructions and schedules to prevent failures.

A qualified candidate should have a minimum of 3 years CNC machinery maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Sevicing, repairing, adjusting, and testing machines and equipment
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and service on machines
• Thoroughly cleans machines and machine parts, removing and reinstalling as necessary
• Records and reports damaged, worn, or broken parts
• Identifies the causes of unexpected breakdowns of machines
• Installs replacement parts for machines
• Reapirs broken machines efficiently and in a timely manner
• Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, supplies, and otherwise maintains shop areas, parts, tools, and supplies
• Coordinates with production team to schedule regular maintenance on machines
• Makes necessary modifications and implements test runs; confers with plant management regarding test results and makes additional alteration to machinery ass required
• Troubleshoots hydraulics, electronics, electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills/Abilities

• Mechanically inclines with great problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Works well independently and with others
• Good communication skills
• Cleanly and organized with attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Handle physical work load; periodically moving up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply technical information from machine manuals

Experience

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum 3 years' experience in performing maintenance of CNC machines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
