Large Projects Assistant

Schedule:
Full-Time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Remote, United States
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (Hourly)
Reports To: Large Projects Manager

Position Overview

The Large Projects Assistant is responsible for supporting some of STAR Autism Support’s largest customers by gathering and organizing educational data, troubleshooting customer issues, and helping prepare for customer trainings and events. This position provides general administrative support to the Large Projects Manager, ensuring that SAS continues to meet project requirements and provides excellent service to its customers.

The Position: What you’ll do

Support Large Project Manager with administrative tasks

  • Responsible for collecting classroom data from internal and external stakeholders
  • Organizes large project documentation in a way that is easy to navigate and accessible
  • Provides customer service by troubleshooting online platform questions for large projects
  • Manages data collection tools for large projects including webpages and surveys
  • Reviews historical and current customer data to ensure accuracy
  • Updates internal tracking documents such as calendars, spreadsheets, and file structures
  • Collaborate with a variety of project stakeholders including trainers, school districts, sales representatives, and others
  • Coordinates customer workshops by providing scheduling support and preparation of training materials
  • May assist with drafting communications and scheduling meetings for large projects
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Skills and Talents: What you will bring to the role

We are looking for a person who
:

  • Has 1+ years of experience in an administrative support role or general office experience
  • Some higher education preferred but not required
  • Strong Microsoft Office (Excel) and general computer technology skills required
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple ongoing projects at any given time
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal skills

Pluses

  • Experience or interest in K-12 education, psychology, and/or special education industry
  • Experience creating or reviewing customer-facing documents and/or large amounts of data

Capability Requirements

  • Ability to type on a keyboard and look at a computer screen for several hours daily
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or qualifies for an accommodation

SAS provides curriculum materials, workshops and training to school and agency staff who work with students with autism and other developmental disabilities. Our unique and practical approach provides school districts with curriculum resources and a continuum of professional development activities to address the educational needs of student’s early childhood through post-secondary throughout the country and internationally.
