MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Able and willing to follow directions. Works well with others. Good health and ability to stand for long periods. Concern for elderly. Willing and able to travel to other centers in an emergency.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assists in food preparation and food service. Under direction, moves, unpacks and stores food and supplies. Receives and refrigerates milk and dairy products as soon as delivered. Under direction, does daily cleaning in the kitchen and storage areas, including cupboards, shelves, racks, work surfaces, cooking equipment and utensils. Under direction, does periodic cleaning of large equipment such as refrigerator, freezer, food, mixer, dishwasher, range, oven, hood and steam table. Responsible for washing pots and utensils. Treats participants with respect. Refers problems to the Site Cook or Program Director. Assists the program in any capacity necessary.
