Maximus was awarded a long term (12 month) contract supporting the State of California unemployment call center. We are adding IT Support Coordinators to the team.

Job Responsibilities

Provides support to REMOTE user’s PCs and Laptops, such as troubleshooting, installing, and removing a number of different software applications (Amazon WorkSpaces, Genesys, etc.)

Handles, responds to, and maintains organization for issues and tickets within established timeframes.

Assists with creating and maintaining comprehensive user-friendly guides for all supported site systems.

Assists with troubleshooting, organizing, and triaging affected staff during system outages.

Maintains a thorough understanding of pending tickets and the status of users on covered projects.

Understands and responds to any potential security or data violations.

WAN/LAN – Troubleshooting network issues with user’s BYOD equipment to pinpoint problems/source of problem.

Working with/escalating problems to corporate support or team leadership, as needed.

Communicate with customers, technical and non-technical staff.

On-call support may be required during emergency situations.

Must be able to commit to and reliably report to work at scheduled times.

Provides assistance to staff in both a resourceful and polite manner while, exhibiting an excellent customer service attitude.

TECHNOLOGY REQUIREMENTS

BYOD (Bring Your Own Device Program) - must be able to provide your own equipment and set-up your own workstation

Secured home internet access, NO HOTSPOTS; preferred ethernet cable connection through Modem

  • Minimum of 20 MBPS download speed; 5 MBPS upload speed
  • Conduct a speed test (google measurement labs) to verify your own speed results - https://projectstream.google.com/speedtest

PC Memory: Minimum 4GB of RAM, 8 GB of RAM preferred
PC Hard Drive Storage: Minimum 6GB HD, 128 GB SSD or 5400 RPM preferred

PC Operating System: Minimum Windows 10 or Mac OS Catalina

Smartphone and USB Headset required

Potential Hourly increase of $2.00 after 30-days based upon performance

Pay: $18.00 per hour
