Applicant must possess & demonstrate:
A positive caring approach to teaching
Knowledge of DAP (developmentally appropriate practice)
Infant / toddler teacher certification and a minimum of 1 year experience working with infants
Friendly social skills, flexibility, and tolerance
Great work ethics especially in professionalism and reliability
Be open to learning
Must have high school diploma and/or college credits/degree
Duties include
Coordinate, a classroom of six babies ages 2 - 18 months, engage with & give attention to babies, engage & communicate with parents, monitor & keep a record of each infants progress, write & implement lesson plans, prepare supplies, keep a clean & organized room, write a weekly memo to parents, follow the centers practices, policies, & procedures, write and report incidents, work cooperatively with co-workers & supervisors, seek and continue professional development.
