Human Resources Intern

• You will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department
• Assist with the development and execution of the full life cycle recruitment process by studying organization plans and objectives; meeting with Hiring Managers to discuss needs, and developing and implementing recruiting plans Conduct or assist with new hire orientation
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation
• Support the onboarding and general HR processes
• Participate at career fairs
• Create presentations, project plans, and documentation
• Answer frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
• Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records
• Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately
• Provides clerical support to the Human Resources team and the Leadership team
• Uphold the company's Mission and Vision statement
• Oversee job fairs and hiring events

• A rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in business administration or another related field
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient with Google Suites
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn human resource information systems (HRIS) and similar computer applications
• Strong oral/written communication skills
• Positive attitude
