We're an upscale sushi restaurant in downtown Manhattan Beach looking for a host/ hostess who can provide a friendly and warm welcome when our guests arrive. As a host, you’ll greet guests by the door, determine their seating table, manage the reservation and lead them to their table. When guests are on a wait, you’ll give them an accurate wait time and encourage them to view the menu and specials of the day.
Main Job Descriptions:
- Greets and welcomes guests upon arrival.
- Takes and manage reservations and walk-ins
- Provides menu and inform guests our daily specials once seated.
- Manages special seating requests and table availability. Informs guest seating and information to servers.
- Monitors dining room activity to ensure guest seating efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Must possess good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during busy hours.
- Must be able to work under pressure, have excellent organizational skills and multi-tasking skills.
- Have positive attitude and know how to be a good team player
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
