Analyticx is currently seeking a well-qualified candidate to provide IT service support to the U.S. Army Airforce Brigade (TAAB) on-site in Fort Belvoir, VA.

About the role:
You will serve as the Help Desk Specialist, with responsibilities for modifying, upgrading, troubleshooting, and maintenance of hardware and software to support MAJCOM and subordinate units. Provide technical assistance to unit personnel. Identifies system problems and develops corrective action. Troubleshoots malfunctions to resolve physical and logical processing problems and recommends acquisition of equipment; software/ hardware which will resolve operational problems. Identifies corrective or preventative procedures. Takes actions to rectify immediate problems and prevent future occurrences. Applies innovative techniques and seasoned judgment to assist customers. Performs computer imaging, troubleshoots, and corrects problems involving interface and interoperability of system components such as hardware, printers, and software application programs.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret Clearance – *required
- 3+ years of IT help desk experience, familiar with Active Directory, DOD network environment, and Remedy – *required
- Security + (the appropriate Information Assurance certification in accordance with DODI 8750.1M/814) – *required
- Attention to detail, with the ability to identify & resolve problems and recommend solutions
- Ability to provide written and oral communication to customers
- Customer service skills (phone and record keeping)
- Analyzing, identifying, troubleshooting, implementing and deploying solutions for hardware and software systems with minimum service impacts
- Willingness to work as a trusted team member
