Caring Transitions of South Birmingham helps seniors transitioning and downsizing to a new location and a new lifestyle. Our total solution of services employs people that like to help seniors and enjoy the history of their home collectables. Our team love to thrift, resell, sort, organize, pack, declutter, repurpose items, find treasures and collectables, and pick inside and outside of homes. Every job is different because every client and their home have a unique story. Our hours of operation are typically Monday - Friday from 9:00 - 4:00, but the wonderful benefit we offer is flexibility. NO mandated shifts. You provide your availability and we get you assigned when you can work. Do you have spare time in your life and you want something else to do and make a difference? Caring Transition's general labor position is perfect for parents, retirees, and students that do not want the constraints of a set schedule.
Typical jobs tasks include: packing, unpacking, sorting & organizing, decluttering, picking and lotting, cleaning out trash and junk, photographing sellable lots, labeling items, and greeting buyers and assisting with item pickup after our auction closes. Check out our auctions on CTBIDS.com.
Must be able to lift 50lbs, stand and walk about 4 hours a day, work in a home that may have pet dander or smoke, drive and provide your own transportation, communicate with team lead, and undergo a pre-employment background check.
