Collaborative Nanny-Family Assistant for Kind-Hearted Family, 1-Year Old Twins

These friendly and generous first-time parents of 13-month old (boy-girl) twins are looking for a warm, supportive family assistant to tag-team with mom on childcare and household duties throughout the day.

Location: San Rafael
Pay: $40-45 per hour, DOE

Schedule:

• Tuesday-Saturday
• 7:30 AM-3:30 PM T-F
• 1:30 PM-10 PM S
• Occasional (weekend) overnights & domestic travel strongly desired
• Please note that family assistants who spend more than 20% of their workday on household (non-childcare) duties are legally required to take a 30-minute unpaid meal/rest period, which is built into this schedule.
• Schedule is flexible Tuesday-Friday.

• Energetic, attentive, and loving care for happy, independent 1-year old twins.
• Family assistant will be helping mom make more time to spend with the twins.
• Duties include laundry, tidying and organizing, groceries and errands, unpacking and breaking down boxes, meeting with workers, and planning activities.
• A private chef handles most meal prep and cooking, and family assistant is invited to enjoy meals provided by the family during work hours.
• Flexible schedule Tuesday-Friday, any 8.5 consecutive hours between 7 AM & 7 PM.
• Saturdays 1:30 PM-10 PM required and primarily child-focused.
• Domestic travel, occasional overnights, and swimming strongly preferred.
• Must be comfortable with dogs. Vaccines required. Vehicle provided.

• Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant paid, professional childcare experience after the age of 18
• Be able to provide stellar professional references
• Be legally eligible to work within the United States
• Be willing to accept a payroll (W-2) position
• Have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record

• Be willing to become up-to-date on CPR & first aid
• Be willing to become up-to-date on vaccinations (for most positions)
• Have intermediate to advanced English communication ability
