POSITION DESCRIPTION
Title: Front Desk Supervisor
Department: Front Office
Reports to: General Manager
Supervises/Manages: Front Desk Staff
Must posses excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience: Minimum two year hotel front desk experience, emphasis on hotel reservations, front desk, and guest service. Knowledge of hotel procedures.
ACCOUNTABILITY:
Perform assigned job maintaining high morale and loyalty to the hotel. Follow policies and procedures set forth by the company. Be professional at all times.
Dress appropriately.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prompt and courteous attention at all times.
Handle all guest compliments and complaints.
Supervise the front office operation to provide efficient service to each guest and maximize room revenue.
Monitor adherence of Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn policies and procedures by Front Office staff.
Complete knowledge of our PMS (property management system) currently Visual
Matrix. Training videos available.
Oversee and participate in the prompt and courteous check in and check out of guests.
Promptly respond to any Best Western International customer service inquiries,
FCR and Medallia surveys (copy to GM when appropriate)
Perform concierge duties such as assisting guests with reservations, car rental, tour bookings, directions, etc…
Keep General Manager promptly and fully informed of all problems or major issues.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
