We are looking for a Front Desk Patient Coordinator ready to create memorable patient experiences. Below are the basics of this role:

The Patient Coordinator is responsible for providing quality customer service to patients and parents at check-in and check-out as well as responsible for verifying patient insurance eligibility and service limits.

  • Deliver quality and compassionate care to every patient!
  • Greet patients and visitors when they enter or leave the office.
  • Ensure patients are kept informed of the progress of their appointment.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy waiting area and front desk area.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility prior to appointment and ensure information is correct in the patient's chart. This process is automated.
  • Ensure visit limits are recorded and communicated with the clinical.
  • Ensure all patient files are ready before the patient's appointment.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Team Leader to provide the opportunity for same day care to patients.
  • Assist with meeting office financial targets by ensuring schedule optimization.
  • Schedule follow-up and recall appointments for patients.
  • Answer incoming calls and direct the caller to the proper person or voicemail.
  • Ensure our patients are receiving the therapy care they need by making outbound calls to confirm patients, reschedule patients that do not make their appointment, and call patients that have treatment that needs to be completed.
  • Ensure all patient records are completed by end of the day.
  • Daily reports and report cards are filled out to document your progress.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve common problems and to provide immediate solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Positive and dedicated work ethic and takes initiative to excel in their given role.
  • Excellent phone and email manner
  • Leadership skills and the ability to lead by example.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively multitask skills.
  • Must be computer and tech-savvy.
  • Punctual and committed to their weekly schedule.

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare office or 3 years in a fast-paced, highly interactive customer service environment.
  • Experience in the medical industry with scheduling and verifying insurances preferred.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to exceed patient expectations.
  • Excellent organizational skills to effectively handle multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to support change, with varying schedules as necessary.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

The resume must demonstrate stable employment history.

Full time Only: Must arrive 15 min early except Tue//Thurs and only 4 early starts a month at 7am on Wednesday and Friday

Schedule

Monday 8-6 Tuesday 830-530 Wednesday 7/8 – 5 Thursday 830-530 Friday 7/8-4

Saturday 8-1 responsible for 2 per month

Pay: $32,075.35 - $35,668.70 per year
