Naumann/Hobbs is looking for YOU to fill our Forklift Technician position in the Kingman, AZ area.

We are the largest Material Handling Equipment Company in the Southwest. Naumann/Hobbs Material Handling, Inc. sells, rents, services, and supplies parts on an extensive line of material handling products. We are a staple in the Valley with almost 70 years of business experience and over 100 million in annual sales.

The Forklift technician will maintain and repair forklift equipment for a variety of clients. Technicians diagnose mechanical and electrical issues, complete preventative maintenance, repair brakes and suspension, and train junior technicians. This position is performed in a shop environment at the company location or a customer’s shop location. It cannot be performed remotely.

What you will do:
Journeyman Technician – 2 Years’ Experience

  • Independent breakdown of electric/IC units.
  • Mentors other Technicians.
  • Ability to do warranty repairs.
  • Proficient at reading schematics.
  • Intermediate to advanced diagnostic skills.
  • Little rework.
  • Ability to contact factory.
  • Advanced learning – ILT courses.
  • Continue education for new equipment.
  • Specialized in Electric or IC products.

Master Technician – 5 Years’ Experience

  • Breakdown of large IC/Medium IC.
  • No Rework.
  • Knowledge & training.
  • “Go To” person for the team.
  • Completely independent.
  • Possible lead responsibilities.
  • Ability to work on multiple classes of equipment.
  • Engaged with new techs.
  • Continues to learn & share knowledge.

Education and Experience:

  • Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Maintain current driver’s license.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.

  • The employee may be required to operate a forklift with appropriate certification(s).
