Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced 3D Artist to create accurate, high quality, photorealistic visualizations for our engineering partners and attorney clients. Duties and responsibilities for this role include creating CG environments, vehicles, and characters using advanced techniques of modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, lighting, rendering, and compositing. The ideal candidate will also have a solid working knowledge of visual effects and post-production techniques. The chosen 3D artist will collaborate with a team of 3-6 professional creatives to create compelling visual content which communicates the findings of an accident reconstruction Expert’s analysis and opinions to a mediation and/or jury audience.

Responsibilities

• Creating CG environments, vehicles, and characters using advanced techniques of modeling, texturing, rigging, animating, lighting, rendering, and compositing
• Create video compositions and presentations for projects and cases
• Create static and animate infographics for mediation and trial exhibits
• Collaborate with engineering experts to ensure visualizations are technically sound and reflective of reconstruction analysis
• Collaborate with a team of 3-6 professional creatives to create compelling visual content which communicate the engineering expert’s analysis and opinions to a mediation and/or jury audience
• Work with attorney clients to conceptualize and deliver effective visualization products and services

Skills and Qualifications

• BFA or MFA in 3D Art, Animation and Visual Effects
• More than 4 years of experience working as digital content creator in the Animation, Film, and/or Video Game industries
• Proficient in industry leading software such as Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Adobe Substance, ZBrush and a variety of creative programs such as Photoshop, Adobe AfterEffects, and Premiere Pro;
• Exposure to real-time/ game engine rendering solutions such as Unreal Engine or Unity;Some experience with AutoCAD and/or Virtual CRASH accident reconstruction software is a plus
• Solid knowledge in hard surface modeling, UV layouts and texturing
• Solid knowledge in motion capture and character rigging
• Working knowledge of storyboard utilization to plan complex shot sequences
• Possess strong knowledge of color, shading, perspective, composition, and other art concepts
• Solid understanding of physics and how it helps create accurate and realistic looking animations
• Ability to collaborate with creative talent on the team
• Ability to lead a large-scale digital media project from concept to delivery
• Ability to manage and meet project milestones and deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Previous Experience in the Forensic Animation industry
• Knowledge of/experience with virtual production
• Knowledge of social media and content marketing
