Field Technician Job at C.C. Johnson & Malhotra, P.C. (CCJM)
CAPITAL PROGRAM TECHICIAN-BALTIMORE CITY
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Scheduling meetings for the Director, Deputy Director and Contracts Manager
- Assisting with contract, procurement and project management
- Assisting with investigations regarding claims, protests, or disputes
- Working closely with the QA/QC Administrator on internal and external audit requirements
- Compiling information and preparing various reports on projects, contracts, grants, etc.
- Disseminating information regarding Senior Procurement Advisory Group (SPAG), Procurement Review Group (PRG), Small Business Reserve (SBR) Program, Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program, etc.
- Monitoring contract activities and notifying Procurement Officers of actions needed
- Filing and managing hardcopy and electronic procurement documents
- Preparing packages for review and approval by the Office of the Attorney General and Board of Public Works
- Managing the online directory and website internally and externally
- Collecting information and preparing responses to Maryland Public Information Act (PIA)
requests
- Maintaining procurement templates to ensure the documents are current
- Drafting and sharing forms, documents, materials, etc.
- Attending meetings and preparing minutes or transcripts, and disseminating to meeting attendees
- Proofreading written correspondence and procurement documents before distribution
- Traveling to the Purchasing Office for special projects/tasks
- Managing inbound and outbound mail correspondence
- Meeting with MDOT MTA Contract Monitor regularly to discuss work assignments and progress
- Aiding Procurement Officers as needed
- Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to produce quality results under strict time constraints
- Basic understanding of Contract Management & Procurement Best Practices
- Ability to organize, plan and prioritize projects
- Attention to detail
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three (3) years of related experience in a professional office setting
- Associate’s Degree from a nationally accredited college or university in any of the following areas of study: Business Administration/ Management, Liberal Arts, English, Communications, Finance, Accounting, or similar course of study
- Proficient in computer application software, including but not limited to Microsoft Office
Suite (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and Adobe Acrobat
- Eligible to work in the United States
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Five (5) years of related experience in a professional office setting
- Bachelor’s Degree from a nationally accredited college or university in any of the following areas of study: Business Administration/ Management, Liberal Arts, English, Communications, Finance, Accounting, or similar course of study
- Experience with computer programs such as ProjectWise
- Experience and/or knowledge of Maryland State Procurement laws, regulations, policies, and procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
