Magnum Cementing Sevices Operations Ltd. Cheyenne, WY

Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Field Sales Representative is responsible for supporting Magnum services to company field representatives, maintaining client accounts, and actively promoting further business development for Magnum.

Job Responsibilities

Sales

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships with client representatives in field operations (consultants et al.); manage existing customer accounts including active promotion of further sales.
  • Actively work to meet client needs and provide superior customer service to ensure ongoing relationship with clients is established.
  • Prepare technical data sheets for external and prospective customers; emphasize service or product features and benefits, and prepare sales contracts.
  • Responsible for business development activities including actively seek out new clients and markets for Magnum products and services.
  • Ensure high level of service by following up with new or existing customers on service delivery, including quality and satisfaction to ensure that contracted obligations are met.
General

  • Participate in training and development activities.
  • Other related duties as required.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:
  • Experience as Field Technician in Oil and Gas industry; complete knowledge and understanding of field operations and functionality of equipment and components as it relates to the cementing of oil and gas wells.
  • Able to work overtime and travel.
  • Legally eligible to work in the country the role is based out of.
Looking For:
  • Related degree or Technical Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), sales, business, marketing, or a combination of related education and experience.
  • Ability to manage sales cycle, from introduction through close of sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to be tenacious and build strong relationships with client representatives.
  • Ability to organize and communicate complex ideas and information regarding technical issues.
  • Prior experience and understanding of the operation of cement pumping and mixing equipment.
  • Able to work with high degree of independence.
  • Experienced in the use of MS Office and/or other software tools.
  • Good communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Reliable and dependable.

  • High degree of flexibility and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience in new business development activities and experience in expanding sales territory.
  • Good project management skills, and decision-making abilities.
