Lakeshore Beverage of Arlington Heights, IL is seeking a skilled and self-motivated employee who will take pride in maintaining clean facilities and grounds for the benefit of employees at the Arlington Heights warehouse.

This is a first shift, full-time position, and the working days are Monday through Friday.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician’s primary duties include cleaning in all areas of the facility; including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and maintaining clean surfaces.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for emptying all trash cans, and moving trash to outside containers for pick up.

Other duties also include maintaining the grounds surrounding the warehouse. This includes cutting grass and trimming hedges; mulching; and sweeping sidewalks, parking lots and other exterior areas, and will participate in ice/snow removal as needed during the colder months.

The Facilities Maintenance Technician should be able to safely operate a variety of maintenance machinery, such as floor machines, buffers, vacuums, and exterior sweepers.

This position is be responsible for keeping the warehouse tidy and organized. This includes helping reduce waste by repairing broken cases into repack.

This position will work closely with the Operations Manager and Warehouse Manager to identify facilities and grounds needs and will address those needs as directed. The preferred candidate will possess minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry and repair skills and will be willing to assist with special projects as needed.
