Electrical Project Manager

Job Description:

Looking for a full-time project manager who will manage multiple projects, while developing new business opportunities and relationships. Leadership, multi-tasking and strong computer skills are required. This position will be in our Columbus, OH office.

Job Duties:

• Prepare and schedule work in coordination with GC, Engineers and Architects
• Effectively supervise a staff in the day to day administration of a project
• Capable of managing multiple projects at one time ranging from small to large projects
• Develop and administer project material and labor budgets
• Preparation and negotiation of all change orders
• Maintain all logs required to track the progress of the project
• Maintain liaison with prime client and owners to facilitate construction activities and future sales
• Monitor construction activities in conjunction with the onsite foreman to ensure project is being built on schedule and within budget
• Investigate any potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures within company guidelines and under supervision
• Attend progress meetings as required
• Manage financial aspects of contracts (material buyout and purchasing, progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) in order to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client

Skills, Knowledge, Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience
• Efficient in Microsoft Office programs (Excel and Word)
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Capable of attending and engaging in meetings with clients, owners, contractors, etc. in a positive and productive manner
• Must be committed to working in a team atmosphere
