Job summary
Under the responsibility of the Senior Key Account Manager, the EComm Key Account Manager will support the corporate level relationships and financial performance objectives for assigned accounts. Execute the strategic direction established to achieve company goals while also providing daily input for the designated EComm businesses. American Bath Group (ABG) operates multiple brands, all of which fall under the responsibility of this role.
Primary responsibilities
Ø Develop partnerships with accounts and account stakeholders to help create alignment necessary in reaching plan objectives.
Ø Program development and implementation including analysis, presentation of products/programs, and category management.
Ø Work in conjunction with New Product Development Team to identify new product opportunities.
Ø Participate in the planning of sales promotion schedules, market overviews, category management feedback, competitive analysis, program recommendation and creation of exceptional product, sales and marketing presentations
Ø Maintain a high level of communication with the internal network to maximize support to the account. Build/maintain bridges between account and internal functions and account key stakeholders to create efficient communication paths.
Ø Conduct customer meetings including travel within USA, Canada.
Ø Contribute to the development of sales strategies and meeting sales targets, financial budgets, performance analysis. Making recommendations for cost reductions and new account management practices.
Ø Work cross-functionally with our internal financial team to execute the customer initiatives including POS analysis, packaging / merchandising, and supply chain/order process. Daily email communication with the Demand Planning / Supply chain teams.
Ø Demonstrate product knowledge and technical understanding of materials and processes used in manufacturing and assembly of company’s products.
Ø Resolve all external/internal customer concerns quickly and thoroughly.
Ø Participate in the development of the key account annual sales budget & provide updated sales forecast necessary for sales and operations planning. Provide input and feedback for sales updates along with timely sales activity reports as necessary for sales leadership to fully understand the opportunities, progress and challenges related to achieve objectives.
Ø Develop and follow an operational model that delivers relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and annually dashboards and business reviews driving the action plan in line with the account objectives.
Profile
Ø 3 – 5 years of account representation in related industry.
Ø Strong working knowledge of EComm businesses
Ø Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred
Ø Extremely strong track record with Lowes
Ø Experience in Retail Category management
Qualifications and competencies
Ø Strong negotiation and strategic planning skills
Ø High-level customer relationship building skills;
Ø Experience in strategic planning and implementation a must;
Ø Knowledge of retail segment of bath and kitchen industry
Ø Excellent planning and analysis skills;
Ø Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Microsoft Outlook a must and experience with data warehouse sales reporting systems (i.e. Cognos, SAP BW) will be considered a plus;
Ø Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power BI, and Power Point
